In addition to my forever-expanding SP collection; I'm also in the market for an open class pump. I'm really leaning to the Kaos pump right now, because it's less fiddly than the Sniper and less awkward feeling (for OC) than a Phantom. Any other pumps I should look at? I'm looking to stay sub-$200.

If you want something weird there is always the Metadyne Thumper.
Empire Traccer if bottomlined is nice. If not the Kaos is awesome only thing i don't like is the farting

If you get an AKP, make sure you go used, they also seem to stay around the same price for used ones so if you decide to sell it you won't lose to much. If you get a Kaos Pump + its electric an needs batteries, but you get a really cool electronic autotrigger and AKP+s are still below $200 used.

I was actually really liking this guy: Linkylinklink

Comes with everything I'd buy for it; so why not, right?

Only one random question: would the macro line hold the pressure of a co2 tank? There's one super-ghetto field I sometimes play that only fills co2. I try to top off an air tank or 2, but sometimes it doesn't cut it and I need a co2 friendly gun.

I don't think any gun with macro is Co2 friendly lol

Hmm, then would the on/off asa be ok with co2 so long as I used a braided hose? This field would be perfect for pumping; but all they fill is co2. Sad

I used to run macroline on my a5 back in the day and it did fine with co2. Just make sure you cut the marcoline perfectly straight and make sure the fittings are actually clamping to the line before you put air through it.

I usually just replaced the line after a certain amount of use and it never gave me any problems.
