The "WTF Was I thinking!?!?!" Thread

Post up the dumbest things you've done in a game.


I was playing a 2v1 against one of my friends and another guy who came to the field. I was wondering whether I'd get taken out or not because they were moving up on me pretty fast.

At the last minute, I saw my friend was only playing one side of his bunker, so I ran forward to bunker him around the other side (his teammate couldn't see me from there) but for some reason, it never clicked in my brain that I was supposed to pull the trigger.

So I ran past him, stuck my gun in his face without shooting, and then kept going to take out his teammate. I'm feeling pumped until I hear him shoot and feel a few rounds hit my back and I shout: "WTF?!? I shot you!?!"
Then everyone who was watching was like: "No, you didn't!"


I laugh about it now, but I was confused and a little pissed when it happened.

What dumb things have you guys done on the field?

i forgot to air my gun up....go out into the woods and get into a fire fight with my buddy,and i am sitting there thinking damn my gun is super quiet then i continue shooting only to get nailed in the shoulder...i call out and walk out of the woods and go to turn the air off on my a.s.a and notice it was off the entire time....

Hmm, My in game "wtf was I thinking" moment was probably when I entered an "ironman" game with a stock class phantom.

For those that don't know what an "ironman" match is, it's where you have a loader and a pod of paint and the only way you become eliminated is by calling yourself out. So you can get shot several times before actually surrendering (if you do surrender). Playing with a pump against four guys with electros wasn't my greatest idea ever.

Dove into snake, popped up to shoot. Shocker wouldn't shoot and I got shot out.... I didn't turn on my gun.
